“Tanya Jones worked for me a Location Sound Recorder for a documentary film, shot on 5 continents and in wildly different locations. I was lucky to have her on the team. Whether we were shooting an interview on a busy street in Vienna and needed the subject to be quickly miked up, or shooting a family celebration around a huge cooking pot in a remote village of Tajikistan, Tanya was always ready and thinking ahead to figure out the best way to capture the best sound.
